(Pre-Order) XM Studios Optimus Primal (Transformers Beast Wars Series)

XM Studios is excited to present Optimus Primal from the Transformers Beast Wars line! Featuring a mix of modern and classic design elements from the cartoon series, every nook and cranny is lovingly designed and sculpted ground up by a team absolutely in love with the Transformers cartoons.

The Maximals share many traits with their Autobot ancestors, including a commitment to upholding the peaceful values of their forebears towards all living and sentient beings. These traits hold especially true in none other than Optimus Primal, leader of the Maximals.

These Maximals tend to take on the form of animals, with upgraded physiology making them smaller, more durable and energy efficient. For the Beast Wars line, XM sought to demonstrate how the meshing of organic and technological elements would look like when reimagined and produced in highly detailed polystone. Featuring intricately sculpted fur and skin that blends into other metallic bodily components, each handcrafted statue is hand-painted with XM’s famous quality finish and produced in a complementary scale to the rest of XM’s 1/10 scale Transformers statues.

Surrounded by Energon crystals, Optimus Primal is featured leading the Maximals into battle against the treacherous Predacons while wielding his Cyber Blades, two scimitars that turn into incredible weapons in his hands. Having trans-scanned into the form of a Gorilla, Optimus Primal possesses incredible strength and power. Coupled with advanced technology courtesy of the Great Upgrade, this enables him to take on much larger opponents such as Megatron and even his namesake, Optimus Prime, should there ever be a need to.

Collectors will also be able to display Optimus Primal in an alternate pose, featuring the Maximal shooting forward with his hand-mounted dual barrel cannon. An alternate look featuring Optimus Primal wearing his face plate will also be provided. A complementary piece featuring Megatron will also be released for pre-order soon as well.
